It just so become a tradition since ancient times, the people, giving praise to something or someone beautiful, erecting monuments and memorials. And it is natural, that the book, as during many centuries a source of knowledge and wisdom, not an exception. The world has plenty of amazing and unusual monuments of the book and reading. In Uralsk  - an unusual huge stack of books of the most famous  writers of Kazakhstan and writers had thrown in their destiny with Kazakh land and the people. This stack of books of known Kazakh and related to Kazakhs, Kazakh literature and Kazakhstan  writers and poets. In Berlin 20-meter high monument represents -  monument is a stack of 17 books with the image on the backs of the names of leading German writers, philosophers and scientists. In the capital of Germany perpetuate one of the greatest inventions of mankind - the printing press.  In the middle of the XV century, a native of Mainz Johannes Gutenberg produced the printing press, thus initiating a new information revolution.  The monument was opened on April 21, 2006 to the World Cup.  In Omsk - Composition "The book - a source of knowledge" is a stack of books, the pages of which shows the letters and characters from fairy tales. Author's interpretation remained unknown to the general public, so everyone think up himself.  People like to embodying their ideas.
