Literary portal will carry out Shabyt

                                                   

Since current year the registration and selection of participants on the XVII International festival of creative youth "Shabyt" «The best literary work» in the nomination Poetry will be carried out by «Literary portal». The works of participants will be openly published online on the «Literary portal». Users of the Portal will be able to leave the comments, to discuss, estimate these works till October 15, 2014.

Competition conditions:

1) The works written in Kazakh and Russian, and also works translated to these languages (collections of verses, poems) are able to be competed.

2) Representatives of all nationalities (16-32 years old) can take part in the competition.

3) Works are accepted in electronic form to the address adebiportal@kzcontent.kz

4) Works are accepted till October 20, 2014.

5) The volume of materials:

     - collections of verses - should not exceed 300 lines;

     - poems - should not exceed 700 lines;

6) Manuscripts are not accepted.

 

Financial terms of the competition:

1) The organizing committee will provide participants of competition with food and accommodation for all the time of the festival.

2) Foreign participants after obtaining the invitation and the confirmation of the status of the participant of competition should pass be him/herself the passport and visa registration in the Embassy of Kazakhstan.

Prizes and awards:

The Grand Prix - the Certificate of honor, a medal and 250 000 tenges;

1 place - the Diploma of the winner, a medal and 200 000 tenges;

2 place - the Diploma of the winner, a medal and 150 000 tenges;

3 place - the Diploma of the winner, a medal and 100 000 tenges;

Special premiums:

- a special prize from Management of culture of Astana;

- participants that not received ranks of the winner will be recognized / awarded by the diploma and a rank «Diploma winner of the international competition».

- works that won the main prize in opinion of known literary figures will be placed on «Literary portal».

Reminders/preventions:

The laureates of the previous Shabyt  festival (The Grand Prix and 1 place) cannot take part this year.

Jury:

The jury will consist of popular figures of literature. The decisions of jury are irreversible
