Monument to Fariza Ongarsynova established in Atyrau today

Today monument to public figure, outstanding poet Fariza Ongarsynova established in Atyrau. 

The monument of the poetess who has become the queen of the Kazakh prose is made of bronze. Height – 8,5 meters, weight – 2 tons.

Relatives and peers of the poetess, local heads, local people have come to a ceremonial opening. At the beginning of event poems of Fariza were read, friends of poetess shared stories of their youth.

Relatives of poetess, who made great contribution in Kazakh poetry field showed their appreciation and told a big thanks to the authorities.

“The quality of the monument is very good. It shows my mother’s sensibility and persistence. I want to say thanks to the local authorities”, - said her son Aibar Ongarsynov.
