An exhibition «Нұрлы жол» – болашақтың жыры бол!» was opened in the gallery of the National library within the celebration in 2015 of a number of the anniversary celebrations noted by the President of the country in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan Nurly Zhol – The Path to the Future. The exhibition is devoted to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate, to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan.
Veterans of war, scientists-historians, representatives of the capital intellectuals and the state and public structures took part in it.
The exhibition consists of 4 sections and includes book exhibits from funds of the National academic library on anniversary subjects. In this regard, the exhibition opened the package of measures devoted to these significant dates.
Section 1 - «The 550th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate». There are more than 180 books and periodicals presented on the exposition.
Section 2 - «The 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War». There are not only books on military subject, but also the slide composition devoted to people of the Great Patriotic War on the exposition. More than 140 books and 13 documents are presented.
Section 3 - «The 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan». More than 90 books are presented on the exposition.
Section 4 - «The 20th anniversary of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan». The year 2015 is declared as a year of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan. The Scientific Advisory Board of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan presented its books to the library. More than 70 books are presented on the exposition.
The exhibition will be available for visitors during the whole year.
