Born in 1983. In 2004 graduated literary course at Musagetes Civil Foundation. Studied philology at Kazakh National Pedagogical Univercity (graduated in 2007).
In 2005-2006 - editor of Apollinarius literary magazine. Since the end of 2006 - editor and columnist at diifferent Kazakhstan magazines. Compiler, editor and co-publisher of several collections of poetry and prose by modern Kazakhstan writers. Cofounder of antiperiodical literary issue Yshsho Odyn (since 2009). Cofounder of Sozyv poetry festival (2012, 2013) and International literary festival Polyphonya (2014)
First publication of Pavel Bannikov’s poems was in Apollinarius in 2004. His works also published in many literary magazines such as Vozdukh, Znamya, Amanat, Literary Alma-Ata, House of Elijah and on literary websites such as Topos, Kastopravda etc. First book of poems called “i” was published in Almaty in 2009.
In 2008 he was shortlisted for the LiteratuRRentgen prize. Since 2009 he is a member of the Board Award nominators of LiteratuRRentgen prize.
