Erlan Zhunis - a Kazakh poet - was born in 1984. In 2007 graduated from World languages faculty of M. H.Dulati state university in Taraz.
In 2001 the first collection of verses "Zhyr-perzent" went out.
From 2007 to 2009 worked in the Kentavr magazine.
From 2009 to 2011 worked in the Kazak adebieti newspaper.
In 2011 went out a book under the name «Kiely tunderiyn dugasy».
Now Erlan Zhunis is a member of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan. He translates works of the world literature from Russian, Persian into Kazakh.

2001 - The Grand Prix «Abay readings»;
2006 - The Grand Prix of the international Shabyt festival in the nomination «Literature», the owner of the Cup of the President «The talented fan of art»;
2009 - The winner of the international competition «Bir olen – bir alem»;
2012 - The owner of the state grant;
2013 - The winner of the republican competition devoted to the Tole bi’s 350th anniversary;
