Poet Almas Temirbayev was born on January 22, 1979 in the village Ortak of the Zerendinsk area, Akmolinsk area (before - Kokshetau). Graduated from Al-Farabi KazNU, the faculty of journalism and the faculty of political science at Kokshetau State University. Almas Temirbayev is the author of books of poems "Self-portrait", "Allazhar", "Thousand and one grief". A known scientist, literary critic Nurtas Akhatuly wrote the monograph about Almas Temirbayev's creativity which was called «Almas - a poet of the people», and published it in 2008 as a book.
