Dauren Berikkazhyuly was born on May 15 1974 in Semipalatinsk area, the Makanshy region, the Karabuta aul (settlement) (present East Kazakhstan area, the region Urzhar). He graduated from the Kazakh State University of World languages (nowadays the Abylay Khan Kazakh University of the International Relations and World Languages).
Dauren Berikkazhyuly taught English at high school from 1996 till 1999, and also in Al Farabi Kazakh National University. Now Dauren works in the department of translation and dubbing-in of the Kazakhstan tele radio company.
Since 1994 the republican newspapers and magazines publish Dauren Berikkazhyuly's poems. In 2000 such works by Dauren Berikkazhyuly as «The Collection. Favourites», «Жас ақындар жырларының антологиясы» («Өлке» publishing hous). In 1996 the Zhazushy publishing house published the book «Оттегім менің, от демім менің – жырларым». Dauren Berikkazhyuly became the author of the collection of the national songs Ante merіdіem published within the series «Отырар кітапханасы». In 2008 the book «Гүл мен қылыш жырлары» was published.
