Omar Anuar was born in Tselinograd in 1979, graduated from Agrotechnical college in Astana, Kokshetau’s cultural college named after Akan Seri, State University named after Shokan Ualikhanov, faculty “Library studies”.
His career began with a profession of the assistant to the cook of restaurant and the cook in school cafeterias, then continued, correctly he started a new activity as the librarian in the capital centralized library system. After, in 2004 he passed into National academic library of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the senior research associate and the chief consultant of the Center of development and forecasting of libraries in the republic.
All this time he tried to publish his works. Then since 2007 he was completely given to journalism. Firstly, he was accepted by akim’s newspaper editorial office “Вечерняя Астана” in Astana city. There he gained the main basic knowledge of reportorial and journalism activity.
The subsequent on his way were the magazines “Астана” (“Astana”), “Литер” (“Liter”), and also “Республика. KZ” (“Respubica.KZ”). By the way, there he worked as the deputy chief editor. At this position he functioned in newspapers “Целина” (“Tselina”) and “Деловой вторник” (“Delovoi vtornik”).
At the present time he works as the editor-in-chief of the republican departmental newspaper “На страже” (“Na Strazhe”).
For the first time he tried to himself in poetry when he was 15 years old. Since then he cannot leave this activity.
He is the author of poetic collection called “Шаги проникновения” (“Penetration steps” 2009).
Twice the winner of the International festival of creative youth “Shabyt” in the nomination “Literature poetry” (2004; 2007).
The winner and member of the International club named after Abai (2007).
The winner of various republican and capital festivals and competitions of poetry.
The head of literary club of young poets of national academic library (2005-…).
At the present time works on the second book of poetry.
