Kassym Shokan Zhanatovich was born on December 9, 1986 in Kokshetau city, in a family of teachers.
In 2000 finished Kazakh lyceum, in 2004 graduated the Academy “Kokshe”, specialty environmental engineer. He studied in postgraduate study of Karagandy State Technical University.
In 2008 he defended the master's thesis in Almaty and received an academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
Since 2007 to 2008 he studied English language in Oxford (Britain).
In 2009 he passed business practice in Barcelona (Spain).
In 2010 within 3 months he passed sports training in Tokyo (Japan).
On a grant of the EU finished a magistracy of the European institute of policy (IEP) in Berlin (Germany).

He speaks in Kazakh, Russian and English languages fluently.
