Tasbolatov Abai Bulekbayevich (was born on Septenber 21, 1951 in North Kazakhstan region) representative of the high command of Armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, lieutenant general, commander of Republican guard (2006 — 2011), deputy of Kazakhstan’s Mazhilis of parliament of the V convocation.
In 1973 he graduated from Almaty highest general command school.
In 1973-1980 — the commander of a platoon, then company of Almaty highest general command school.
In 1980 — 1983 — the listener of Military academy of M. V. Frunz.
Since 1983 to 1986 — the teacher at Almaty highest general command school.
Since 1986 to 1991 — the commander of a battalion at Almaty highest general command school, and since 1991 — the senior teacher of Almaty highest general command school.
In 1991-1992 — the head of department of military schools and preconscription training of headquarters of the State Committee of defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since 1992 to 1997 he held a position of the chief at Almaty highest general command school.
Since 1997 — the chief of Military academy of Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2000 he finished the High academic courses of Military academy of the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
During the period from 2002 to 2006 he held a position of the deputy minister of defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On January 23, 2006 he was appointed to a position of the Commander of Republican guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2007 he completed advanced training courses at National university of Li Chuen Yu (Singapore).
Doctor of historical sciences, professor, full member of academy of military sciences of the Russian Federation. Author of 49 scientific and literary publications.
Master of Sports in officer all-round. The chairman of Republican Federation on hand-to-hand fight of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2012 deputy of parliament of RK. On September 11, 2015 he was elected as the First Vice speaker of Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
