Raushanov Yesengali was born on October 5, 1957 in Karakalpak AUSSR. Graduated from Kazakh Humanitarian University, journalism faculty. His first poetic publications have attracted attention in a student time. In the 80th years wide recognition comes to the poet - he becomes the winner of an award of the Union of Youth of Kazakhstan.
He worked in the literary almanac “Zhalyn”, the editor-in-chief of the “Aray” (“Dawn”) magazine, nowadays heads “Zhazushy” publishing house.
Yesengali Raushanov's creativity has organically absorbed figurativeness of the Kazakh folklore, motives ancient to a zhyraus, akyns and metaphoricalness of modern times.
