Vladimir Georgievich Shesterikov was born in 1939 in farm “Chistovskii” of Bulaev area in North Kazakhstan region.
He graduated faculty of history, literature and Russian language at Petropavl pedagogical institute in 1962.
Since 1962 till present days works in editorial office of the North Kazakhstan regional newspaper “Leninskoye Znamya” at first as the literary employee, then the head of department of literature and art.
He published poetic books “Новые стихи” (“New Verses”, 1969), “Костры земли” (“Earth fires”, 1974), “Острова в степи” (“Islands in the steppe”, 1977), “Катер на Ишиме” (“The boat on Ishim”, 1979).
