Literary and arts works are selected for participation in competition for a state award-2014
The commission on state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of literature and art under the chairmanship of the state secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov made a list of the works aspiring to receiving a state award in 2014, Akorda's press service reports.
Opening a meeting, the Secretary of State noted value of works aimed at the state support and encouragement of authors who made a significant contribution to enhancement of cultural property of the country, and also the special responsibility of members of the commission connected with it.
«The consideration of the arrived works proceeded in three sections: literature; music, theater and cinema; fine arts and architecture. The work of sections came to the end with ballot during which the works recommended for participation in the following round were selected. The list of applicants was approved by common decision of the commission», - is told in the message.
According to rules, the information on authors and works will be placed in the state mass media for open discussion.
