Serikzat Maksutovich Duysengazin was born in the East Kazakhstan area, the Ayagoz area, the Tarbagatay aul (settlement). In 1997 Serikzat graduated from philological faculty of the Al Farabi Kazakh National University. In 1999 he received a Master degree in "Literary criticism". During the period from 1999 till 2002 Serikzat Duysengazin was the deputy director of student's club of KazNU, then he was appointed the deputy director of the O. Zholdasbekov Palace of Students. Since 2002 till the present Serikzat Duysengazin is the associate professor of literature of the L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University, and since 2006 Serikzat Duysengazin was appointed the deputy dean of Philological faculty of ENU.
Serikzat Duysengazin is the Candidate of Philology, the winner of republican competitions on aitys, the winner of republican competition, the author of one research, one scientific monograph, about thirty scientific articles and numerous publicist articles. Serikzat Duysengazin is one of the originators of several literary and scientific and informative collections, the author of the well-known within the country songs "Сен үшін жаралғандаймын", "Түнгі сыр", "Сүйіктім", "Ақиқат нұры" executed by the Kazakh singer M. Bespayev. Collections of poems and a set of collections of national songs by Serikzat Duysengazin were printed in republican literary editions.
